Made-Up: MAC Flat Out Fabulous Retro Matte Lipstick

Finally caved and got it. Though no regrets, I feel like I have a color like it. The only thing unique would be the finish since only MAC makes retro matte, aka SUPER DRY! LOL!

Made-Up: Becca Collection

Becca has been buzzing around my ear for a few weeks so I decided to drive to Ulta last Sunday to pick up the Best of Becca Collection on the first day of their 21 Days of Beauty sale. It has trial sizes of their top items. What piqued my interest was the mini pressed Rose Gold Shimmering Skin Perfector. I love rose gold. I also ordered their limited edition pressed Brushed Copper Shimmering Skin Perfector from Sephora so I'm apparently a Becca Girl now. They have such a wide range of colors for even the darkest woman of color. It's quite impressive. I went to Sephora yesterday and the Becca rep was so helpful and she did a mini makeover on me. I have to say I was glowing. I have quite a bit of products in my "Loves" now. The next thing I want to get is their liquid Shimmering Skin Perfector in Topaz. It's absolutely gorgeous!

Made-Up: MAC Julia Petit Açai Lipstick (Matte)

I got this on Thursday and though gorgeous, it has a few dupes. MAC Rebel and Wet n Wild Sugar Plum Fairy. So if you weren't able to snag this one, don't worry.

Made-up: MAC Bao Bao Wan Limited Edition Collection

So while I was doting on the Cinderella Collection, MAC released the Bao Bao Collection right under my nose and the good lippies (matte) are sold out, except for the nude lustre one...which, let's face it, we're all tired of. I mean the Cinderella collection literally just released one. I managed to snag Burmese Kiss (matte bright coral pink) from Bloomies though. Looks perfect for summer. Lavender Jade kind of reminds me of RiRi Boy, which I already have. But I'm curious about that "gold pearl" they speak of in it. In a matte lipstick that sounds unique. Great, do I have to stalk MAC tomorrow when the Cinderella collection is also launching?!

Style: Nike KD7 Aunt Pearl Sneakers

So I've never been one to buy basketball sneakers so let's blame my 14 yr old niece for this. These particular ones benefit a cause though and I'm all for that. Kevin Durant releases a sneaker every year in honor of his aunt Pearl who passed away from lung cancer back in 2001. The charity the sneaks are linked to is called the Kay Yow Foundation. They are sold out now and retailed for $120, grade school sizing. Almost double the price I've ever spent on sneakers! Another thing is they are a wide shoe and my feet are narrow and my ankles are super skinny. I cannot rock these with skinny jeans without looking like a clown :/ I'm having a bit of buyer's remorse on this one. I do love the wing strap, gold accents and fluorescent pink flywire though. Hmmmmm.

Style: Ear cuff

Finally rocked my H&M ear cuff. Got it on clearance last year. I wore it to dress at the a Vivienne Tam Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Show. It does hurt at the top of the ear where the clip is. Never did like clip-ons for that reason. I got a lot of compliments though. As they say, beauty hurts...right? That's the saying? Doesn't sound right... ;)
