My hair May 17th

My hair today May 3rd & African Formula Super Grow Hair Gel

Pulled back one side with 2 side combs. Pulled out some of the spiral curls left over from my flexi-rod set more and picked the roots. Put some SheaMoisture Yucca Thickening Milk throughout, some African Formula Super Grow Gel on the pulled back side and finished with SM Reconstructive Elixir. My cousin put me onto the gel last summer, but I haven't used it for more than my edges and nape since it's a growth gel. There is no hold whatsoever. I plan to use it more for twist-outs and stuff, my hair is thin and I can use all the help I can get. That's how my cousin uses it (twist-outs) and her hair looks so healthy! It gives the most awesome shine and the smell reminds me of Let's Jam from back in the day :) Perhaps this in conjunction with the Deity Plant Shampoo that I use will be a good combo. I use this shampoo almost everytime I wash my hair, but I don't mention it as much. My hair today May 2nd

Put some Karen's Body Beautiful Butter Love (in Lavender Vanilla, yummy!) throughout and pulled it out a bit with my hands. Then pulled the sides back with side combs and smoothed them with Jane Carter's Nourish & Shine and some Eco Styler gel on the edges. Topped it off with some SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Elixir.

My Hair Today May 1st

So it's looking like a large coil-out today. I put a headband to make things easier and fluffed it with my hands. It's raining and the dew point is over 50...not helping.
